what is pup play?

pup play is a kind of roleplaying where the participants take on the actions and attitude of a dog which is usually accompannied by some kind of gear like pup hoods, tails and harnesses. pup play is closely linked to the leather, bdsm and lgbt communities.

it can be both sexual and non sexual, such as some scenes including just playing fetch and acting like a dog. pup play can also have dom/sub roles with the dom taking on the role as an "owner"/"master" or if they're a pup too they can be an "alpha".

in relation to BDSM, pups can also be collared by a dominant, with special collars to signify ownership. a lot of pups have a headspace known as pup space which helps with the roleplay aspect and getting into a pup persona more easily.

pup play & me

i have been interested in pup play for a few years now, with it always being in the back of my mind. i mostly used it as a coping mechanism and regressed with the sexual side just being an addition. more recently however i'd say in the past year or two it's encompassed itself more into my personality and who i am as a person, now i can't see myself without it.

i identify as a pup and it's usually from submissive side, i love to play and be silly! i love biting i have a chew toy just to do that. i love to play with a dominant but i also like to play with other puppies sometimes. i love being cared for especially when i regress, it's a big part of why i like pup play in the first place. rules/punishments are also really important to me they're something i want to implement more into my life. i also act as a kind of support animal for my boyfriend which i like alot :D

i see myself as a fluffy daschund, but honestly any fluffy black dog counts. i have black puppy ears and a red collar with bones on it which me and my bf got :D i would loveeeee to have a tail one day it's just a matter of finding/making one that is perfect for me, i also have a dog bowl but i really want a personalized one! i'm also pupgender i feel like being a pup influences how i feel about my gender since it's such a core part of me.
