Each JoJo's part and each JoJo has it's respective "Jobro", a JoJo's friend/sidekick in the part who is especially close with them and aids them along their way.
Examples include Okuyasu to Josuke and Bruno to Giorno, this also can include the entire "group" if applicable such as in Stardust Crusaders and Golden Wind. This term was made by fans as a JoJo archetype.
Common traits within Jobros are: meeting the JoJo as an enemy first and becoming friends later on, becoming a faithful ally to the JoJo throughout the part, dying towards near the end of the part and giving the JoJo some kind of boost.
ROBERT E.O SPEEDWAGON
Speedwagon is classed as Jonathan's "Jobro" in Phantom Blood but some would say that William Zeppeli is the Jobro instead. Formerly a Londoner thug residing in Ogre Street, Speedwagon befriends Jonathan Joestar and becomes a loyal ally.
In Battle Tendency, Speedwagon returns as a wealthy businessman and a secondary ally to Jonathan's grandson, Joseph Joestar. His organization, the Speedwagon Foundation, continues to support the Joestar Family throughout the story, notably in Stardust Crusaders, Diamond is Unbreakable, and Stone Ocean.
Throughout both Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency, Speedwagon supports the Joestars in their adventures and regularly helps them with his street knowledge, such as "smelling out" evil and the personality of people. He is a righteous man and is loyal to his friends, even helping them in the afterlife as his organization funds medical and archaeological advancements, and aids the Joestar family time and time again.
Speedwagon is never able to learn Hamon himself, as it's only limited to certain people, so during battle he uses other ways to aid Jonathan and frequently provides dialogue of whatever is happening during the fights.
CAESAR ZEPPELI
Caesar is Joseph's "Jobro" in Battle Tendency. Caesar is first introduced as an arrogant rival towards Joseph, and picks and ridicules him whenever he gets the oppourtinity. They both continuously butt heads but eventually get to know one another as Caesar reveals himself to be honorable and prideful in his family, continuing on the tradition of battling evil and wanting to avenge his friend and father.
Joseph and Caesar's relationship greatly improves after this and the two train their Hamon together, using their rivalry to push eachother. Caesar greatly cares for his close friends and family, and takes great offense when talked bad about. This combined with his short tempered personality can make him very prone to impulsive decisions. Despite being a serious and focused man, Caesar is also charismatic and charming, constantly picking up the ladies whenever he can.
Caesar uses Hamon during battle, being consideriably more trained in the art than Joseph. He uses soap that is hidden within his coat and gloves to conduct Hamon and create bubbles of energy. Notable moves include Bubble Launcher, Bubble Barrier and Bubble Cutter, the latter being based on his grandfather's hamon move, Hamon Cutter.
NORIAKI KAKYOIN
Kakyoin is Jotaro's "Jobro" in Stardust Crusaders, Polnareff is also seen as Jotaro's Jobro by fans.
Kakyoin originally is introduced as a villain, however is later revealed to have been brainwashed by Dio and was sent to kill Jotaro. After being freed from Dio's influence, he join's Jotaro on his adventure to Egypt to save his mother.
Kakyoin is introverted and polite on the surface, however can become ruthless and cruel towards his enemies and defeats and belittles them without hesitation. During Kakyoin's childhood, his ability always made him feel like he couldn't fit in, but with the Joestar group and meeting other Stand users he felt like he belonged within the group. However he feels like he wouldn't have been friends with them if the Stands didn't exist, showing his friendship with the group as conditional. Kakyoin's reasons for joining the group was for fighting evil and a sense of debt towards Jotaro for saving his life from Dio's grasps.
Kakyoin uses his long-range stand, Hierophant Green in battle and uses the move Emerald Splash against opponents.
OKUYASU NIJIMURA
Okuyasu is Josuke's "Jobro" in Diamond is Unbreakable, other Jobro's could also be Koichi Hirose and Rohan Kishibe.
Okuyasu is introduced as an antagonist, however soon becomes Josuke's best friend and they fight stand users together. Okuyasu wields The Hand, a stand capable of erasing space. He is kind hearted and kind, constantly showing his emotions which sometimes can be to extreme levels. Despite his kind hearted nature he is impulsive and sometimes can be downright violent, alluding to his immaturity as a teenager. He rarely takes the time to observe and dives headfirst into battles or impulses without consideration.
Okuyasu is shown to be generally dimwitted and has difficulty making decisions, due to his reliance on his older brother and lack of independence. This is often taken advantage of by opponents so he is easily defeated despite such an incredibly strong stand. He eventually grows out of this by the end of the part and is able to think for himself. He is shown to be a genuinely caring and kind friend, always coming to the aid of people and saving them when necessary.
BRUNO BUCCIARATI
Bruno is Giorno Giovanna's "Jobro" in Vento Aureo, Guido Mista is also seen as a Jobro along with the others in the gang.
Bruno is a Mafioso and the leader of his own squad within Passione. He is originally an opponent towards Giorno, however after a long and meaningful talk, the two decide to band together to take down Passione and Bruno lends support in Giorno's ascension in Passione's ranks. Bruno is first shown in his more violent side, something he puts up when dealing with unfamiliar people outside of Passione, he is later shown to be incredibly kind and taking honorable courses even if it endagers him.
He has great resolve and is prepared to sacrifice himself for his beliefs and duties. These traits within him push him to follow Giorno's plan, previously being conflicted between his role in Passione and hatred of the drug trade in Italy.
Bruno takes his responsiblity as team leader seriously, making him extremely determined within fights to protect his team and look out for them, he makes sure his team stays united. He also has a habit of picking up badly-treated members of society and treating them with genuine kindness and humanity, leading him to create the group he has.
Bruno is also a Stand user who wields Sticky Fingers, which can create zippers wherever he chooses. Bruno Bucciarati, first introduced as a sly gangster, is quickly revealed to be a righteous and extremely determined, if brutal, individual.
ERMES COSTELLO
Ermes is Jolyne Cujoh's "Jobro" in Stone Ocean, Anasui and others can also be seen as her "Jobro". Ermes is a woman who voluntarily imprisoned herself in Green Dolphin Street Prison to seek revenge against her sister Gloria Costello's killer. She soon allies herself with Jolyne Cujoh in the prison's hostile environment and acquires her own Stand, the duplicating Kiss. Ermes Costello is a headstrong, pragmatic, and down-to-earth person, who has been consumed by a thirst for revenge for much of her youth.
At the start of the story, Ermes is mostly concerned with her own survival. Her only goal is to last long enough in prison to eventually murder her sister Gloria's killer, Sports Maxx. Being a seasoned convict, Ermes is well aware that Green Dolphin is practically run on bribes - as such, she is preoccupied with amassing money through any means necessary, having even surgically altered her breasts to smuggle in curled up dollar bills. Her partnership with Jolyne Cujoh, despite Ermes genuinely liking the girl and giving Jolyne advice at the potential expense of her own safety, was initially also one of convenience, as Jolyne knew more about the reasons behind the growing number of Stand users inside the prison, something that would pose a constant risk to both of their stays. Ermes stresses the fact that she's not willing to truly rely on anybody, and it's implied through her criminal record and prison experience that after losing her family and home she had to get by on crime for an undetermined amount of time. Ermes's pragmatism informs a lot of her mindset, as she usually chooses the most apparent way of action and tries to approach problems in a direct, down-to-earth and often blunt manner. Although she is baffled by the increasingly bizarre instances of the supernatural, Ermes quickly adapts to them, preferring to take them for granted and connecting them only to whatever objective she has at hand. For example, despite the initial shock of discovering her newly awakened Stand, she immediately gets back some stolen money with its ability, concluding that even though she doesn't exactly understand what it is, it's at least useful.Allying with far more eccentric and far less prison-savvy people, Ermes often finds herself being the voice of reason, although not a very succesful one. Ermes regularly tries to hold back Jolyne's reckless or idealistic decisions, like sparing Foo Fighters because of her supposed lack of agency in killing humans, or just blindly jumping into a fight. Not one to mince words, Ermes can turn brutally honest. Ermes speaks in a very familiar tone. She loudly and openly voices her frustrations, curses frequently and often shouts in anger to get her points across. She enjoys taunting and trash mouthing her opponents, and sometimes joins in on Jolyne's more vindictive exploits.
Ermes is a dirty fighter, using any underhanded methods available to get what she wants. She prefers to avoid open confrontation and usually goes into a fight with a winning strategy in mind. She's also not above bargaining or begging to avoid a fight she can't take. However, when the chips are down, Ermes proves to be an extremely resilient brawler. She can stay up on her feet and moving even with multiple severe injuries, and she often inflicts them herself by tactically duplicating and fusing her own bodyparts back together with Kiss. Having lost her father and sister, Ermes hides a vulnerable and tumultuous emotional core beneath her generally blunt outlook on life. Her desire to get revenge and kill Sports Maxx is fuelled by raw anger and grief, as she fully admits to having no pretense of a moral high ground or any other strong underlying rationale for her actions besides simply getting closure. With this in mind, she purposefully avoids revealing the actual reason for her arrest to Jolyne or F.F, preferring not to drag anyone else into her personal matters. However, when met with genuine affection, Ermes opens up and receives it in earnest, shedding tears at Jolyne's side, as she realizes the sacrifices Jolyne was willing to make for her by sidestepping her own goals and joining the fight against Sports Maxx.
GYRO ZEPPELI
Gyro is Johnny's "Jobro" in Steel Ball Run. Gyro is a master of the Spin and an executioner hailing from the Kingdom of Naples. He joins the Steel Ball Run race to win amnesty for a child he is assigned to execute. Gyro's signature weapons are his special Steel Balls that produce and manipulate the Spin - the mastery of which later allows him access to the senescence-inducing Stand Ball Breaker. Gyro is a cocky and flamboyant executioner marked by the harshness of life, who participates in the Steel Ball Run for the sake of a young boy. Gyro initially appears as an aggressive contestant in the Steel Ball Run race. Unlike other competitors, Gyro looks to seize the first place above all else, rushing ahead of everyone then fending off anyone who challenges him. He also has a tendency to take dangerous shortcuts. Gyro is a rude man, deriding the vast majority of those he meets with insults and mocking commentaries. Even with his closest friend Johnny Joestar, Gyro doesn't mince his words and sometimes argues with him. Moreover, Johnny only made a lasting impression on Gyro through his dogged stubbornness and otherwise looked down on him during their first meeting. The only person for which Gyro had any degree of respect is his stern father Gregorio Zeppeli. Gyro's overconfidence extends to his fights, during which Gyro is prone to mock his enemies in some way or say something brash.
Gyro is particularly proud of his mastery of the Spin, a family technique involving the rotation and throwing of steel balls to various effects and hails the Spin as the acme of human skill, this pride is, to a degree, justified when the Spin manages to overpower D4C Love Train. However, as a teacher he seemed to be somewhat begrudging, only bothering to teach Johnny the basics of the Spin and introducing him to the Golden Rectangle when they were threatened by a new enemy.
As an executioner and otherwise confrontational man, Gyro is not afraid to use violence even in a lethal fashion. However Gyro doesn't have the same ruthlessness as Johnny and initially doesn't seek to kill his enemies if he deems it unnecessary. Gyro nonetheless possesses an altruistic side, and likes to help anyone who needs his assistance, most notably the paraplegic Johnny to whom he taught the Spin technique and helped acquire the Holy Corpse Parts. Johnny originally said that Gyro didn't have the drive and determination necessary to get things done. The jockey argued that because Gyro inherited everything he had as an upperclassman and heir of the family Spin technique, he didn't have the kind of selfish hunger born from suffering which was crucial in the race. True to that, Gyro Zeppeli initially raced out of altruistic concern for Marco, and primarily relied on tricks to prevail in the race. During his battle with Ringo Roadagain he bent his original motivations into a more personal goal, the path to see for himself whether Marco deserved to be executed and and who exactly the Corpse was. After that, Gyro switched to a slightly less cocky behavior, and focused seriously on his battles. In his horse riding, Gyro switched to a more personal style, instinctively choosing his own route instead of the "shortest path", enabling him to even outmatch Diego in the race. Out of combat, Gyro also possesses an eccentric personality and is particularly bombastic. Gyro has a penchant for gags, involving puns or an inexplicable brand of humor from bad puns to skits defying all logic, frequently telling such jokes to Johnny in the spur of the moment and created a song about Mozzarella cheese, singing it to Johnny and being happy that he appreciated it. He also has a fondness for dramatic gestures and quotes, saying that the Goddess of Victory was riding with him and that she would retract her favor if he ever let another woman ride with him. Unlike Johnny, Gyro frequently grins, exposing his metal teeth in the process. The mere fact that he engraved his teeth with the message "Go! Go! Zeppeli" already exposes his ostentatious nature. Humorously, Gyro also keeps a pink teddy bear with him, being fond of it enough to keep it even during the Steel Ball Run, although he leaves it at one point. However, mimicking his own father, Gyro can be stern and dignified when he talks about the Zeppeli Spin technique.
Gyro has a somewhat optimistic outlook on life and is convinced that he can overcome setbacks, even if they'd need a miracle to overcome, as long as he follows a virtuous path. Nonetheless, following the "tennis ball over the net" belief, Gyro is aware that failure is just as likely. Gyro has a few tics of language. For instance, he has a signature "Nyo-ho-ho!" chuckle and he usually shouts out "ORA!" when he hurls a Steel Ball in combat, reminiscent of the Stand Cries of the former Joestar Stands. Eventually, after Gyro's death, Johnny adopts Gyro's battlecry as Tusk ACT4's own Stand Rush.
YASUHO HIROSE
Yasuho is the "Jobro" of Gappy, the two eventually having a romantic relationship. Yasuho is an ordinary university student who accidentally discovers Josuke Higashikata at the Wall Eyes on the coast of Morioh. As Josuke seeks his identity, she becomes his primary ally and love interest, deciding to work with him to discover his identity.
Yasuho eventually awakens her Stand, Paisley Park, which she utilizes to investigate the city's mysteries. Yasuho is a mild-mannered and inquisitive young woman living in Morioh. She is somewhat innocent, in one instance naively following Josuke's requests to look elsewhere while he beat Ojiro during interrogation. She is more easily upset than Josuke. Despite this, she does show a level of intelligence by using Josuke's cap as a lead to discovering his past, which led to their discovery of Yoshikage Kira. She is also somewhat understanding of others, as she was able to discern, after discovering photos of bound women in Kira's home, that Josuke was not the type of person to do such a thing. She named Josuke after her dog since he resembled him.
She disagrees with her mother's carefree lifestyle, suffering some unhappiness with her domestic life as a result. On the other hand, Yasuho used to idealize her father and after the divorce of her parents, always cherished the moments she would spend time with him, to the point an illusion of her father wanting to cut off ties with her broke her heart and pushed her to try to commit suicide. She harbors a growing fondness for Josuke, with whom she shares a close and warm alliance.
In addition to her growing feelings for Josuke, she seems to get along quite well with Tsurugi Higashikata. While Tsurugi initially kidnapped her on orders of Yotsuyu Yagiyama, Tsurugi developed an attachment to her and revealed the family secret including his real gender to her. She, in turn, grew fond of him as the two worked together to find out Josuke's identity and more about the Locacaca fruit. They have even fought enemies together, and the two could be seen hanging out together.
Throughout the story, Yasuho grows into a fiercer woman due to the repeated fights she has to participate in. While at the beginning of the story she was completely helpless against foes as she didn't master her Stand, she progressively shows more resourcefulness in the face of the enemy and has shown a readiness to hurt them.
DRAGONA JOESTAR
Dragona is Jodio's literal "Jobro" in the JoJolands. Dragona is Jodio Joestar's older sibling and works alongside him as a gangster in Honolulu, Hawaii. They are a Stand user who wields Smooth Operators, a colony-type Stand that can displace anything. Dragona is a jovial, amiable, and active person, who nonetheless participates in various crimes alongside their brother. They like girly fashion and dress in feminine outfits.
Their Stand Smooth Operators doesn't have the same offensive capabilities as Jodio's Stand. Thus, Dragona seems more inclined to talk their way out of trouble or at least use guile and surprise attacks instead of rushing headfirst into conflicts. Dragona has a close relationship with Smooth Operators, referring to the Stand as their kids. Dragona tends to act as the cautious one among their allies, warning them whenever they go too far. They disapprove when Jodio needlessly stomps on a police officer, though thanks Jodio afterward as Jodio was doing it for their sake. Despite their criminal life, Dragona also takes their legitimate job at the fashion boutique seriously and heavily disapproves of their fellow gangster Paco stealing from the clients, scolding him and even pulling his ear to punish him. Unlike Paco and Usagi, Dragona acts warily while searching for the diamond in Rohan's villa, berating the two for stealing things they don't need.
Dragona is physically active, jogging every morning and following yoga courses. Their motto, which they picked up from an Indian yoga instructor, is to "never push themself too hard, but never give up either," indicating a preference for steady effort. One of Dragona's favorite foods is papaya, and it is the only thing they eat for breakfast.
Personal favourite Jobros:
Each JoJo's part has it's respective main antagonist and villain. Each JoJo part also has smaller villains who go against the protagonist in different ways. Some villains may end up as a allies, such is the case especially in Part 4, with many of the villains becoming allies down the road, examples include Rohan Kishibe, Okuyasu Nijimura and Yuya Fungami.
Dio Brando
Dio Brando is the main antagonist of the series overrall, but having notable roles in Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders. He also plays a part in Stone Ocean as a primary motive for Enrico Pucci. Originally a man of low birth but peerless ambition, Dio is a cunning villain of little conscience and has an insatiable hunger for power. After becoming a vampire and later a Stand user, wielding the all-powerful The World, Dio has gathered many minions around him and is responsible for many major events of the series. His legacy and influence persists throughout the first six parts of JoJo, with characters either being related to him or heavily inspired by him. Dio is consistently manipulative and violently domineering, and has repeatedly shown a lack of conscience and empathy. Dio's most recognizable characteristics are his boundless ambition and his love of power. Abused by his father and having lived in the most miserable living conditions, Dio set for himself the goal of becoming the richest, then the most powerful being on Earth. To do so, Dio used anything or anyone that he could in order to further his goals, disregarding any kind of morality that would restrain the range of actions available to him. Using either manipulation, seduction, or plain violence, Dio constantly sought to become more and more powerful. Dio enjoys being in a position of power and has repeatedly stated how great he felt being in a dominating position. On the contrary, Dio never tolerated that someone could stand up to him or equal him in power, and was enraged and deeply disturbed at the thought several times. Throughout his life, Dio has tended to surround himself with witless cronies and later minions, who were attracted by his natural charisma. Not thinking much of them at first, he then selected those he deemed as particularly evil, claiming that an evil person wasn't bound by rules such as honor and thus were stronger mentally. Naturally, Dio is an incredibly-selfish person, only looking over his own interest and overlooking those of others at best, trampling them on the ground at worst. Due to his composed nature, Dio can and will manipulate and take what he can from all sorts of people, using any method, as long as the person suits his present desires because he is primarily interested in their capabilities. Dio is the type who is incapable of loving another person wholeheartedly. The only people he can be said to have held some type of affection for were Jonathan Joestar, and Enrico Pucci; Dio recognizing Jonathan's worth as equal to his own, and having been friends with Pucci. Still, Dio stole the former's body and his friendship with the latter was proven nonetheless beneficial of a grander plan to further himself. When interacting with someone, Dio will constantly try to manipulate them and sway them into his side, using a veneer of gentleness and his natural charm to make people admire and like him. However, his natural arrogance would lead him to openly insult and belittle his enemies, notably disparaging their insignificant strength before his vampiric or Stand powers. Dio approaches obstacles and problems in a number of ways depending on the situation and his mood. When he was human, Dio was careful and methodical in trying to break Jonathan's spirit, only being thwarted due to unlucky twists of fate. As a vampire, DIO at first let his arrogance get the better of him and took a laissez-faire approach, only sending subordinates to kill the Joestar Group while he rested and recovered. During his final battle, his wariness, tactical acumen and arrogance would clash to make Dio alternate between meticulous approach and overconfident attacks.
Kars and the Pillarmen
Kars is the leader of the Pillar Men, and the designer of the Stone Mask. His goal is to evolve further to become immune to the sun's rays, and thus he seeks the Red Stone of Aja to empower his Masks, battling the Hamon users for its possession. As the creator of the Stone Masks and vampires, Kars is one of the more influential characters in the series, his invention having far reaching repercussions for a number of major characters, such as Dio Brando, the Joestar Family and the Zeppeli Family. Kars is intelligent, ruthless, and single-minded in his dedication to obtain the Red Stone of Aja. He was stated to have been a genius among the Pillar Men, having been the original creator of the Stone Mask.
Initially, he appears to be the most aloof and no-nonsense of the Pillar Men, rarely smiling and often being the one to remind Wamuu and Esidisi of their goal. Kars is utterly devoted to obtaining the Red Stone of Aja, and tramples over anyone in his way, no matter the method. Though he entertains Joseph's initial challenge, and later Lisa Lisa's. In Kars's mind the only thing that matters is the final victory. He still has some level of respect for bravery, but ultimately his philosophy is to never leave anything to chance. He breaks his word about fighting for the Stone fair and square, cheating to defeat Lisa Lisa and has been revealed to execute children, anticipating their revenge. Though he vows to avenge his companions, he found Wamuu's warrior spirit to be a weakness. Kars will fight for his companion's memory but his priority will always be attaining absolute power by any means necessary. Kars is observant, methodical and boasts an incredible intelligence accustomed to trickery. His obsession with the Aja Stone is an easily exploitable weakness as Kars prefers to take no chance in losing it. Thus it has been used as a shield and leverage by his enemies with ease. Despite his stern, no-nonsense exterior, Kars possesses a murderous and sadistic nature. He has stated that a life without an enemy is boring and has shown to enjoy fights occasionally. However, he only really derives pleasure from inflicting harm and hearing the cries of his victims.[ Kars enjoys the desperation, and often licks his lips in anticipation of their demise. Kars also comes across as mockingly polite, as he offered Lisa Lisa poison to die on her own terms rather than fighting him. These tendencies become more clear when he attains his ultimate form, and he is seen to thoroughly enjoy his status as the most powerful life form on Earth.
Yoshikage Kira
Unnoticed in Morioh for years and undisturbed all his life, Yoshikage Kira is an abnormal and paraphilic serial killer characterized as highly egocentric and psychopathic, with a few obsessive-compulsive tendencies. He is also a hand fetishist.
Kira is a Stand user and wields the powerful Killer Queen to create deadly bombs. Kira longs for a peaceful and quiet life, safe from any worry, and does not wish for it to be interrupted. Whenever that life seems assured, Kira adopts a jolly and confident demeanor. However, beneath his façade of a simple, humble salaryman, Kira is very abnormal. The most abnormal characteristic of Kira is his frequent and periodic murderous impulses. Kira targets women, or, more specifically, women with beautiful hands. Kira possesses a hand fetish, which he discovered when he found himself aroused by the Mona Lisa's hands. However, his desire has never extended to the rest of the female person and he otherwise shuns their presence. This results in murdering random women, not caring in the least how they look or behave, in order to acquire their (severed) hands as "girlfriends," acting as if the severed hands were actually sentient and conversing with them, even offering them various gifts. When one "girlfriend" begins to decay, he disposes of it and goes off in search of a replacement. Kira is an opportunistic killer, his modus operandi being spotting a potential victim, following her to her house, and murdering her when both are isolated. Due to his Stand leaving absolutely no trace of their victim behind, these murders are reported as missing persons. Moreover, Kira has expressed various other similarly violent impulses such as the desire to choke his victims to death. Kira is particularly violent when someone threatens his way of life or publicly humiliates him. Since Kira doesn't want to be noticed, he will try everything to solve his problems without facing anyone directly. However, if he doesn't have any other choice, he will instantly try to kill whoever discovers his true nature. Kira is also afflicted with a number of other quirks. Apart from his wish for a monotonous and tranquil life, Kira's OCD also makes him very meticulous and thorough. Kira has sophisticated tastes, notably buying his lunch at the best store in town as well as wearing Valentino suits. He doesn't tolerate any imperfection and is even willing to waste time fixing Koichi's socks instead of fleeing the scene, as he could not stand seeing them being worn inside-out. Kira is also an egocentric and selfish man, akin to a spoiled child. He doesn't care that his crimes involve murder and make his victim's relatives suffer. He only seeks to satisfy his basic instincts. In addition, Kira is determined to preserve his lifestyle, and being set back only increases his determination. Kira is also quick to shift the blame to someone else for his troubles, notably Josuke and his allies, for ruining his life. Kira possesses a twisted pride in having managed to mix his tranquil lifestyle and his serial murders for so long, and categorically refused to flee the town and live in fear, preferring to maintain a shaky façade of normal life with the Kawajiri's. When Kira was pierced with the Arrow, his demeanor became much more relaxed and prone to elation due to his new-found power. Ecstatic to possess a power which would dispose of anyone who investigated him, Kira allowed himself one loud boast, which caused his downfall as Josuke overheard him claiming to be "Yoshikage Kira".
During his confrontation with the Stand Stray Cat, Kira expressed a desire to protect his "wife," Shinobu Kawajiri, and even showed relief at her safety. A feeling that confused him, Kira rationalized it as merely his not wanting to arouse suspicion. Whether these feelings were genuine or not is left unanswered.
Diavolo
He is only known to most as the boss of Passione, which corrupts Naples by dealing drugs in the streets, making him both Giorno Giovanna and Bruno Bucciarati's superior and their greatest enemy. He is also Trish Una's father, and orders Team Bucciarati to deliver her to him whilst keeping her safe from the traitorous La Squadra Esecuzioni. Because of his obsession with secrecy, almost no one knows his appearance, name, or background.
Diavolo is a Stand user who wields the incredibly powerful King Crimson in battle. He is later revealed to be the alternate personality of Vinegar Doppio, with whom he is able to share part of his Stand. The biggest personality trait Diavolo shows is his obsession with erasing any trace of his history and keeping his identity a secret from the world, a compulsion he will fulfill by any means necessary. As he believes the mistakes of the past, or simply the past itself, is something to be defeated and destroyed in order for human beings to grow, he is exceptionally anxious about his own past, linking it to fear, and being apprehensive of anyone learning of him. Even in the already secretive Passione hierarchy, Diavolo goes to excessive lengths to completely hide his identity, issuing orders through several proxies or by computer so that nobody ever meets him personally. Diavolo lives most of his life in the shadows, hinted to perpetually travel across Italy hidden in Doppio, his alternate personality, and sleep in motel and hotel rooms exclusively. This compulsive trait of erasing his past is also an allegory to the inherent imperfection in King Crimson, specifically Epitaph's ability; while he can see into the future so as to avoid any mistakes, Diavolo's Stand ability cannot erase any low points or 'ebbs' in his life that have already occurred, forcing him to try to fix his errors through his own personal, manual efforts. Diavolo has a violent tendency to hunt and kill those who try to uncover any kind of his personal information, or are merely susceptible to lead his enemies to him, as shown by his will to kill even his own family if it means keeping his identity safe - something highly vocalized through his attempts to murder his daughter whom had never even met Diavolo herself and only knew things her mother passed down. His second most prominent personality trait is his pride and confidence, firstly in his nigh-invincible Stand King Crimson, then in himself. Operating under a philosophy that King Crimson makes him invincible because it allows him to see the "pitfalls" in the future and avoid them, and allows him to manipulate Fate and reality by choosing to nullify arbitrarily chosen events, he justifiably boasts about King Crimson's power regularly. Diavolo notably claims that anyone's actions before King Crimson are vain. Secondly, Diavolo is intimately convinced of his innate superiority over humanity. Other than his own philosophy of defeating the past so as to mature, Diavolo also lives by another thematic philosophy that results are the only things that matter in the world. As a decisive and assertive crime boss, Diavolo doesn't hesitate to take shortcuts or directly involve himself with troublesome matters if those actions are the quickest and easiest paths to an end. King Crimson's ability is an echo of this, and maybe the source of it, leaving nothing but the outcomes of situations, specifically those he himself sees fit to keep. He abuses his Stand's power as a means to produce the most favorable conclusions to his problems, and at the same time, boldly prove his philosophy's claim to anyone that he confronts.
Enrico Pucci
A loyal follower, friend, and protégé of DIO, Pucci aspires to implement a plan long formulated by DIO to "achieve heaven". Working as a chaplain at Green Dolphin Street Prison, he secretly frames Jolyne Cujoh and uses her as bait to lure Jotaro Kujo and his memories of DIO's Diary.
Pucci is a Stand user and manipulates the mind and soul through his Stand, Whitesnake. The priest Enrico Pucci is an amicable man turned fanatic, committed to a heretical notion of God's will and to DIO's plan. As a teenager, Enrico Pucci was a good-hearted man, who tried the best he could to follow his faith as a future priest. Even then, Pucci was already interested in Fate as he was curious as to why he lived while his twin brother Domenico Pucci died. This question was what led him to become a priest and seek answers. When a tragic series of events led to the suicide of his beloved sister Perla, Pucci fell into despair and went to see DIO, a mysterious eccentric man that he met prior. Enrico Pucci then became a radical believer after frequenting DIO, whose principal credo was that humans were helpless before many forces which ruled the Universe. Among these forces, God's will and Fate -which Pucci dubs "Gravity"- were the most brought up. Pucci's backstory, full of near-impossible coincidences and twists of fate and Perla's death whose responsibility couldn't be pinned on anybody, in particular, were the probable inceptions of this belief. Prone to chitchat, a lingering effect of his many discussions with DIO, Pucci often brings multiple random trivia to drive his point: observing Miraschon try to steal a golden cross, Pucci explained how Miraschon couldn't escape her nature; similarly, Pucci explained to Jolyne how a certain species of reckless swallows died young because they didn't realize their limits, and used this as a metaphor for the Joestar bloodline. Mixing this belief with DIO's plan to "attain Heaven", Pucci sought to make every human know their fated paths via Made in Heaven's power, and give them the "resolution" to accept their destiny, calling it true "happiness". Essentially, Pucci wished that humans realized that they couldn't fight Fate and make them at peace with their status as subordinates of Fate. In his quest for attaining Heaven, Pucci used many immoral methods including murder, manipulation, and bribery, being merciless with his words and actions. Pucci was particularly callous about human lives, considering that he worked for the greater good anyway and that these sacrifices were insignificant. A rather reserved priest, Pucci became more and more exalted as the plan neared its completion, having occasional outbursts of enthusiasm and celebrating the Green Baby's conception. Prior to acquiring Made in Heaven, Pucci was an anxious person and used to recite the prime numbers, which calmed him thanks to their indivisibility. Upon unlocking it, however, Pucci became supremely confident, and began to express his emotions more freely, exasperated at Jolyne's persistence to resist him and angrily shout her name. Interestingly, Pucci's first Stand Whitesnake possesses its own personality which can be described as scornful and vicious. Whitesnake vocalizes Pucci's inner emotions more freely than its user, notably his anger.
Funny Valentine
Funny Valentine is the 23rd President of the United States and the true mastermind behind the Steel Ball Run race. He watches the competition from behind the curtains and hopes to gather the Saint's Corpse as a means to further the United States' ambitions.
Valentine is a Stand user, wielding the powerful Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap and its ability to travel across parallel worlds. He later unlocks the even more powerful ability D4C Love Train. Valentine's foremost characteristic is his deep patriotism. Marked by the gruesome fate of his father, Valentine's goal is for the United States to stand over the rest of the world. To do so, he seeks the blessing of the Saint Corpse Parts, becoming ecstatic when the Corpse blesses him. Moreover, the President shows a great degree of determination toward this goal. Despite this, Valentine is also callous about the lives of individual Americans, never hesitating to sacrifice his own subordinates in his quest for the Corpse and going as far as to kill them himself if he deems it necessary. His patriotism also comes with some hypocritical egotism. Despite his declared goal of working for the interests of the country, he regularly declares that "his" goals are fulfilled, and after witnessing Love Train's ability, shouted that everything, including power and glory, was now "his" specifically.
Valentine is a ruthless individual, having a might-makes-right attitude toward the world, constantly using the metaphor of "taking the napkin first" to signify his gain in power. He believes that power is founded on authority, and part of the reason he wants the Corpse is to obtain a spiritual authority on par with the Vatican. Convinced that not everyone's wishes can be fulfilled and one must always sacrifice something for the sake of another, Valentine chooses to put the United States' prerogatives above the interests of the rest of the world. Funny Valentine is generally polite but cold toward any individual. The only person he's admitted to having loved is his father, confessing to have been searching for him across multiple parallel worlds, although that claim is dubious. Despite his marriage with Scarlet and the two sharing a certain fondness for each other, Valentine only appeared to be a little disturbed by her death.[28] Finally, Valentine keeps a professional distance from his subordinates at best, only caring that they fulfill his orders, whether they die or not.
Toru
He is the mastermind behind the Locacaca Organization, using his Stand to act as the TG University Hospital's hospital director, Satoru Akefu. Alongside the hospital director, Toru disguises himself as an ordinary part-time medical student at the hospital. Toru's main motive is to develop a revolutionary medicine through the New Locacaca with the goal of restructuring the balance of power in society.
He is eventually revealed to be a Rock Human and a Stand user, wielding the calamity-inducing Wonder of U, an automatic Stand which causes anyone who thinks of pursuing either the Stand itself or Toru to endure a calamity. Toru is a callous and mysterious individual who directs the Locacaca Organization from the shadows. He uses a friendly charade as a means to disguise himself and drive away suspicion.
As a Rock Human, Toru has grown to develop antisocial tendencies due to his solitary upbringing. While he's able to conduct himself in a casual, upbeat manner, Toru's true personality has an incredible sense of ruthlessness to it. This is best demonstrated by his Stand ability, as well as his general apathy towards the suffering and grievance of those around him. Toru is ambitious and knowledgeable in technology and medicine; however, he's frustrated by his youthful appearance, which he feels is a roadblock to achieving his full potential. He uses the stolen identity of Satoru Akefu to maintain influence and power as the director of the TG University Hospital and his own covert organization of Rock Humans. His main project is the cultivation of the Locacaca to create revolutionary medicine and secure global influence, up-ending the balance of society and placing his species at the top. Toru also muses about the riches and the power he could secure by exploiting the new fruit's Equivalent Exchange.

Jotaro Kujo
Jotaro Kujo, out of the entirety of the JoJo characters has especially impacted my life in numerous different ways and is the character I relate most to. His quirks, his way of thinking and his attitude is one I relate extremely deeply to and who I see myself most in. I personally see Jotaro as being autistic and I know many other people do too. As I'm also autistic I relate to the way Jotaro behaves and I connect with him that way.
Leone Abbacchio
Abbacchio is a very interesting character that I relate to. I first came to relate to him in a strange place in my life where I preferred to be seen as a cold and stand-offish person, which Abbacchio can be at times. I have since gotten over this and present as myself more however I still carry parts of Abbacchio with me and he still influences me as a character to the point where I still see myself in him.
Guido Mista
Greatly contrasting the former 2 characters I relate to, Mista is a quite new character I relate to. Upon shedding my "cold" and "standoffish" attitude, I've found I relate heavily to Mista and his ways of life and the way he is. He is quite laid-back and relaxed, and often times childish and silly. Mista is carefree however can be quite serious when the time comes for it. I feel Mista embodies who I would want to strive to become in the future.
Gyro Zeppeli
Gyro follows in Mista's footsteps in being quite different from the first 2 entries on this list. Gyro is proud of the things he accomplishes specifically mastering Spin, and can be quite cocky at times. He can be quite rude and brash. But he also can be kind in which he helps people who need it. He also portrays a more silly side and comes up with gags, jokes, puns and the like. I feel like Gyro's different personalities showcases my different personalities as a person, on one side being standoffish and brash, and on the other side being carefree and silly.
