Felix is addicted to cocaine and his boyfriend Luan. He enjoys partying, EDM, lounging around the house and writing stories. Felix is extremely co-dependent on Luan, being unable to function properly if he’s not around.
As a child Felix was coddled and overprotected by his parents to the point he had no sense of independence and self. Every second of his life was controlled by his parents. His brother, who was neglected and treated as rotten by their parents is jealous of Felix and the “love and care” they provided him.
When Felix was 18 he left his parents home after a fight with his brother that forced him to leave the house. He stayed at homeless shelters in which eventually he met his drug dealer. This short burst of dopamine was everything to him in a time where all he wanted was someone to lean and depend on, it took all his problems away with just one sniff. In homeless shelters he meets a lot of other young people going through something similar to he is, and they invite him out to parties where they do drugs, drink alcohol and get so shitfaced they can’t remember who they are anymore.
Through these parties he meets a lot of different people and he ends up couch surfing on a lot of peoples sofas, but as time goes on he ends up financially and emotionally dependent on them and they kick him out. Felix treats them like a caregiver because he doesn’t know how to take care of himself and they eventually get fed up with this behaviour. Each time he gets kicked out Felix gets worse and worse, his cocaine addiction getting worse, his depression getting worse and the need to be needed getting worse each day. He jumps back and forth from homeless shelters, to couch surfing and to sleeping on the street.
Eventually at a party one day that unbeknownst to him was actually a sex party, he meets Arséne who would then be his roommate for the foreseeable future. Arséne takes Felix in and truly cares for him like a parent would and it’s everything Felix needed in somebody. Arséne also helps him get a job and Felix becomes a hooker at a BDSM club where he finally has his own money and can provide for himself. He also meets Trixie at the BDSM clubs, who is a popular drag queen in the scene. She takes care of him and looks out for him like an older sister would and makes sure he’s not getting himself in any trouble.
Everything is going well for Felix, he has a job, he has friends that care about him and care for him, he feels like hes truly getting on his feet and discovering who he is as a person and in this same time frame he also discovers he’s transgender, with the help of Arséne and Trixie who are also under the umbrella. He names himself Felix after being Mallory for so long, hoping it would bring more luck his way. It’s the first time hes ever had any sense of independence to the point he can strip away his parents grip on him down to his name and gender.
After finally getting on his feet and living good for a year, he meets Luan while prostituting and that feeling of wanting to be taken care of comes back to him.
